I have spent close to four decades serving my country in the United States Air Force, leading in environments where accountability, discipline, and results were essential. Service has always been a central part of my life, and that commitment did not end when I retired from the military.Today, I am called to serve again, this time here at home in District 79.Through my work in the community with the NAACP, the Community Relations Council, and 100 Black Men of Greater Columbia, I have had the opportunity to listen to residents, work alongside local leaders, and better understand both the strengths of our community and the challenges we must address. I have seen families working hard to build stable lives, educators striving to support students with limited resources, and small business owners navigating an increasingly difficult economic environment. I have also seen opportunities to strengthen our schools, expand access to healthcare, support local businesses, and improve public safety that deserve greater focus and action.I am running because I believe leadership should be measured by its impact on people’s lives. District 79 deserves leadership that is present, accountable, and committed to delivering results.I am prepared to bring disciplined, experienced leadership to the State House and to serve this community with purpose, integrity, and a focus on real outcomes.
